We visited the home of our Jacob Spears who built the first distillary and created the first Kentucky Bourbon Whiskey. We also visted the memorial to those fought and died in the Blue Licks batttle of the American Revolution in 1782 where we lost John Fry. We got to see our own Wilma Mayfield present a restored lantern which was used in the Rockbridge Methodist Church before the sanctuary was electrified.
