Photos from our 2019 Reunion in Shelbyville, Kentucky   June 20 - 23

At the Shelbyville, KY reunion we learned about some of the descendants of the first Benjamin who migrated to Kentucky.  We visited the home of our Jacob Spears who built the first distillary and created the first Kentucky Bourbon Whiskey.  We also visted the memorial to those fought and died in the Blue Licks batttle of the American Revolution in 1782 where we lost John Fry.  We got to see our own Wilma Mayfield present a restored lantern which was used in the Rockbridge Methodist Church before the sanctuary was electrified.

At the Kansas City Reunion in 2013 we learned of the migration of Isaac Frye (1765-1840) son of Benjamin, b 1723, who is the son of Benjamin, (1696-1763), of Frye Fort.  He married Catherine Frye, daughter of Jacob (1726-1808), also a son of Frye Fort Benjamin.  It is our duty to not forget any of the Frye family who migrated to Missouri and made the state their final resting place.
